CAST IRON PIPE REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT IN MIAMI, FL, AND NEARBY AREAS

There are two ways to replace your old rotting Cast Iron Pipes. You can go top-down and cut into the slab of your home or you can tunnel underneath your house and avoid a huge mess. Depending on your situation our company can accommodate both methods. We usually implement the top-down method when you are remodeling your entire house and don’t mind a big mess. However, if you are trying to avoid dust and dirt inside your home, we can usually get the repiping job done without disturbing anyone inside your house.

Signs You Need

Cast Iron Pipe Lining

When you make National Pipelining Technologies your preferred pipe lining company, you can count on solutions tailored to your needs. As for whether or not you'll benefit from cast iron pipe lining, we recommend paying attention to the following signs:

  • Needing increasingly frequent repairs
  • Having older cast iron pipes in close proximity to mature trees
  • Noticing wet spots on your lawn where pipes are located
  • Having multiple drains that are backing up, clogging, draining slow, or emitting foul odors

TUNNELING AFTER CAMERA INSPECTION

At National Pipelining Technologies, we don’t leave anything up to chance. Before we make our recommendation to our clients, we conduct a full inspection using a small video camera that we maneuver through the sewer pipes in your home. By taking the time to thoroughly inspect your plumbing system we are able to save you money by fixing the pipes that are broken and cracked. National Pipelining Technologies technicians use Hydro excavation to loosen up the dirt because water eliminates the risk of causing expensive and hazardous pipeline damage.

Trenchless Pipe Rehabilitation

The first step to starting a trenchless pipe repair project is an HD video inspection of the sewer pipes. The initial inspection will show all the issues that exist within the pipe. We are looking for blockages, channel rot, cracks, leaks, tree roots or anything else that can cause backups in your home or business. The Rigid camera inspection will help us locate the branch lines and various bends in the pipe. We will measure the length, diameter and the layout of the plumbing system. Utilizing the latest technology is the only way and the proper way to complete a full scope diagnostic evaluation of the sewer system in your home.

National Pipelining Technologies technicians are trained to thoroughly clean the sewer pipes before we begin the lining process. In order to guarantee the work that we do on your home or business sewer system we must make sure that the inside of the pipes are clean and grinded to a smooth finish. First, we will use our Harben Hydro Jetter to remove all grease and dirt and blockages that exist within the pipe. Oftentimes as with any project, the heavy work must be done prior to moving on to the actual pipe lining.

In addition to utilizing the Harben Jetter to clean your pipes, our team will use specialized tools to descale the inside of the cast iron. At the same time, our service will remove debris, blockages, and any other buildup in the pipe.

Once the cast iron pipes are cleaned, the pipe is lined with an epoxy saturated liner. The liner hardens and the new liner becomes stronger than PVC. Usually, the main line will be lined before the branch arms. Once the main line has hardened, we will cut a hole for the branch arm to connect to the main line. This reinstatement is accomplished with a robotic cutter.

The CIPP

Process

The National Pipelining Technologies team uses the best equipment on the market to examine your pipes.  We must utilize the best diagnostic equipment because that is the only way to properly diagnose your pipe failures.  Our HD camera is used to determine the exact amount of liner that is required to complete the job. It also shows us if the pipe transitions from one measurement to the other. For example, a sewer pipe may be 3 inches in diameter for a specific length but it may connect to a higher or lower diameter.  We need to know this because it will be a significant factor in the liner we will use.
